Last Post

Wow, been a long time since my first post, almost feel sad about writing this. A lot has happend since then and perhaps the most exiting has happened recently. But first a brief self description. Anyone who knows me knows i'm am not outgoing and i'm very shy, i hate this the most about myself, even more than my inability to tan. I wish i could just get over it but i can't, whenever i talk to someone i don't know well (mostly girls) i get really nervous. so in an effort to try to overcome this fear i made it my new years resolution to be more outgoing (talk to girls). That was about 4 months ago i think. So i did, and i had some success. I made friends and all was good. Happy ending? sadly no, as such things with girls seem to go there are great ups, and deep, deep, downs. I currently seem to be at the bottom of a pit, but there is a ladder out i just have to find it. So that has been my life for the week and a half, looking for the ladder. Its been fun writing these blogs, ill miss it.

School topic: being on a team

I've been on a few teams. The two teams i've been on the most have been my soccer and swimming teams. If i had to chose witch team i liked more i would say swimming. The reason for this is because on the soccer team there are still the clicks and social groups you see at school. This prevents holds back a lot of people including myself. I'm not in the popular crowd, and i don't want to be either (std's, drugs, being a bad person in general) so these people because they are in the popular crowd tend to hold themselves above other people. This is not true at all on the swim team because we are not popular. We don't hang out in the same click but we can still get along because we don't consider ourselves superior.

I'M CALLING YOU OUT TATE!!!!

It has come to my attention some people are under the illusion Tate Tufte is better at Call of Duty than me. So i've challenged Tate to a 1v1. However he has yet to accepet. So i'm giving Tate one week to 1v1 me before i do something. What will i do? Probably nothing. But never the less i callenge Tate Tufte to a 1v1!!!

School Topic: Reputation

It can be hard to define yourself, and your level of reputation. But after much consideration i've classifeid myself as a mild nerd. The reason i don't consider myself an all out nerd is because there are people in this school much more dedicated to video games in general than i. So does this mean i get bullied and picked on for it? No, actually quite to opposite. Within my group of nerd friends i get quite a bit of respect for my talents. Although i've yet to claim my title as king because tate won't 1v1 me. Also as long as i'm on the subject i'd like to challenge anyone who thinks they can beat me to a 1v1 to claim my rightful place as best first person shooter player in the school, because i am. The only person i would be concernd about would be curi, but fortunetly he switched over to PC a long time ago.

Plants vs. Zombies

Yesterday was Saturday, and we had a show choir competition in la crosse. It was really long, but to pass the time i brought my moms new ipad. I'm not the biggest fan of ipads, it would be much more practical to just get a net book or something but my mom got one for being of the school board so i'm not complaining. Also the day before i downloaded plants vs. zombies. BEST GAME EVAR!!!!! OH MY GAWD!!!! I played the game every second i could and it is amazing. The game basically is you trying to defend your house against a zombie hoard. In order to do this you use plants that shoot peas, explode, launch cabbages and much much more. Although the game sounds childish it has a lot of depth to it, there is a surprising amount of strategy that goes into it.

School Topic: Spring Time

There are four seasons in Minnesota, almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction. I love that joke (credit goes to JB for telling it to me). Spring is always really nice after the long Minnesotan winter. But it's also really wet, and the weather can never seem to make up its mind. Not that i'm outside a lot anyway, spring is kind of my break from doing anything so i mostly just sit inside, and play xbox or something like that. But it does kind of suck for people who are in track or tennis.

School Topic: Respect

The golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. I've always been a cynic of this rule. And this is because if i could have my perfect world everyone would worship me and give my lots of money. And obviously I don't want to worship anyone, so this rule doesn't really work for me. I'd like to say I treat everyone I know with respect but I don't. I just don't like some people and I treat them how I feel they have treated me. I don't go out of my way to try to put down these people, I mostly try to leave them alone, but they often find a way to annoy me so I treat them with little respect. You disrespect me= I disrespect you. The system works.
