Swimming is Over

I feel bad saying it but i'm glad that is it. Its been a very long season, we didn't win any meets. It was still fun but its going to be nice to have more free time after school for homework and stuff. Well i can't think of anything else to say about that so ill move on to a topic i can always say something about, god and religion. I recently got in an argument with a certain individual about this. I've gotten in other argumengts before with ben jones. Usually ben would say a few random facts that were supposed to prove god real (these facts were not always true but he always made some good points about some of the holes still left in disproving god (although even if you could prove he was real i'm not so sure I would want to believe in him). Also i've always respected ben because he has always been able to admit problems with religion and i could admit problems with atheism. But this new person i got in an argument with just infuriated me. First of all i don't pick fights with Christians, they can live in their world of delusion and be happy in ignorance as long as they don't try to force it on me. This invidual tried to force it on me, they tried to "save me". This frustrated me. So I said something along the lines of "how do you explain evolution?". This person responded with something completely unrelated to evolution most likely because they is to ignorant to make any sort of argument against me. They said something like "faith is defined as believing without knowing". Thats not faith it's blind faith! That is not a thing to be proud of! Mabye Christians realized they are incapable of winning an argument. So they have resorted to saying crap like "i believe in god because i have blind faith and i'm proud of it". So why is blind faith bad? Because then you believe in anything like unicorns or dwarfs even though there is no proof! Now i don't mind if people believe in god because it helps you emotionally or you need to believe in a greater power because life is to hard for you or something like that, but you need to accept that not everyone needs god. Even if you could prove that there is a god (this is impossible by the way) i would still choose to not believe in him because i'm my own person.

Sorry but I just needed to vent a bit.....
